Ice dyeing is a textile technique that uses ice to create vibrant, abstract patterns on fabric. Fabric is scrunched, dye is sprinkled on top, and ice is placed over it. As the ice melts, it carries dye particles through the fabric, resulting in unique, watercolor-like designs.
Wash Care
It is advisable to hand wash this fabric separately with gentle soap and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variations in color.
Note
Color bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the color stabilizes. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time.
