Lehar Long Kaftan

Each piece is dyed using certified plant-based colours, extracted from Indian-origin roots, tree barks, and leaves, a process that’s gentle on your skin and kinder to the planet.

Design Highlights:

• Crafted in premium 80 gms Chanderi, handwoven in Benaras, medium weight yet with enough weight to fall elegantly.
• The fabric is breathable and opaque, no slip required, but you can always wear a slip underneath if you prefer especially for mustard.
• The wave pattern is created using Nui Shibori, a traditional stitch-resist craft. The waves run lengthwise down the kaftan, drawing a long, elegant line.
• A soft V-notch neckline with a row of small metal buttons down the front, a simple detail that lifts the whole piece.
  
• The cut can be described as a kaftan-style kurta with dropped shoulders.
• Two deep side pockets, discreetly set into the seams
• Available in two classic shades, drawn entirely from plants, made only for this season: Mustard & Natural Black
• Mustard is made from marigold flower & Natural Black is made by mixing two plant dyes: pomegranate & myrobalan.
