Color series : Accidental invention of Peanut Brown

In our textile studio, working with natural dyes has revealed intriguing possibilities. Unlike synthetic colorants, these dyes offer a fascinating range of shades from a single powder.

The accompanying picture speaks volumes—the final dye transformation from a muted beige to a captivating warm greyish brown, reminiscent of freshly roasted groundnuts. This unexpected discovery came to life through an intriguing process, elevating the unremarkable hue into something alluring and nostalgic.

Embracing the unique qualities of natural dyes, which allow light tones to transition into darker hues, we created a collection of sought-after double-color Shibori textiles.
